Things get complicated when you have over 20 shell companies.
The Biden defense has been that whatever Hunter Biden was doing doesn’t involve his father.
Sure, Hunter might have traded on his father’s name, his father might have phoned in and stopped by events with his clients and his son might have even sent demands for money to China in his name, but it has nothing to do with Joe.
And it still doesn’t. Not even when the money is going to Joe Biden’s address.
House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) today announced the House Oversight Committee subpoenaed and obtained two bank wires revealing Hunter Biden received payments originating from Chinese nationals, including Jonathan Li, in July and August 2019 when Joe Biden was running for President of the United States. Joe Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware home is listed as the beneficiary address for both wires.
“Bank records don’t lie but President Joe Biden does. In 2020, Joe Biden told Americans that his family never received money from China. We’ve already proved that to be a lie earlier this year, and now we know that two wires originating from Beijing listed Joe Biden’s Wilmington home as the beneficiary address when he was running for President of the United States. When Joe Biden was vice president, he spoke on the phone and had coffee with Jonathan Li in Beijing, and later wrote a college letter of recommendation for his children,” said Chairman Comer.
Why was the money going to Joe Biden’s home when Hunter was supposed to be living in California?
Hunter Biden notes in his 2021 memoir, “Beautiful Things,” that he was living in California at the time the wire transfer was made, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Ky.) told reporters Tuesday, adding that the latest findings are an example of the president having “lied to Americans again” and that it is “wrong” for him to say that he never received money from China.
Comer, likewise, told Fox News host Laura Ingraham that he’s “pretty certain” Hunter Biden was not living in his father’s Delaware home when the address was listed on the transfer.
“There is a relationship that was developed between Joe Biden and Jonathan Lee,” Comer charged.
Things get complicated when you have over 20 shell companies and are moving money around.
But why not move it through a shell company? It’s almost like the Chinese needed to be reassured about whom they were buying here.
Does Hunter’s business still have nothing to do with Joe when he’s getting payments from China at his address? How long does the media think that it can continue playing this game?
