Say Goodbye to Your Meat and Dairy – It’s Harming the Planet

This climate change nonsense has gotten so out of hand. Everywhere you look, on practically every website, there is something about “climate change.” We have to stop doing this; we can’t eat that anymore, and on, and on, and on.

Everything is blamed on climate change now: soil erosion, the weather, crop growth or the lack thereof, problems with your own skin, animal issues, more health risks, less food, poverty, etc. It’s completely ridiculous.

One of the newer claims is that besides the absolute need to eliminate the burning of the so – called fossil fuels, now – the consumption of meat and dairy needs to be drastically lowered, if not eliminated altogether.

You see, cows fart—and that is methane gas. Cows contribute to “greenhouse” gas emissions. Cows’ farts are the second leading cause of climate change in the world. Seriously? Nope – so sorry, I’m apparently wrong on this; it’s actually cows BURPING, silly me. (Source)

“Ruminants have always emitted methane; it is not something new. Huge herds of wild buffalo, cattle, goats, sheep, deer, camels, and wildebeest have grazed the grasslands of the world for millions of years. The American prairies once supported greater numbers of bison than they now do cattle.”  (Source)

So according to the above quote, there were more animals, all contributing methane gas, than we have roaming the planet now. Huh, funny thing—we are STILL here!

So according to these nut jobs, cows have to go. So, dairy, obviously from cows, that needs to go also.

“Now, according to a first-of-its-kind survey of more than 200 environmental and agricultural scientists, we must also drastically reduce meat and dairy production—and fast.” (Source)

It’s also noted that soybean and corn production contribute to the greenhouse gas problems, so those need to go as well. That, of course, means no more or very limited corn on the cob. Ethanol production will have to stop, and no more corn syrup or high fructose corn syrup—the latter being in most everything in the grocery store because it’s cheaper than sugar.

So, we have to gravitate towards eating more chicken and fish. Except, since chickens like to eat, more chickens means more biological waste and, of course, more feed. So chicken is out too, and let’s not forget the bird flu problem. As for fish, well, they then need to be farmed, and that means containment. If they can’t have that, they will pollute the water, and the environmentalists will have a hissy fit about it—so no fish either.

Remember also that we have to eliminate fossil fuels, so all the vehicles on the road will need to be scrapped; no gas, remember? Then too, all the farm equipment will have to be junked; we can’t have any diesel anymore either. All air travel will be stopped because we can’t use jet fuel.

So, let’s recap: we cannot any longer drive anything or fly either. We can’t raise animals anymore, crops can’t be planted, and eating is not something the environment can withstand.

Therefore, all of humanity must immediately drop dead—it’s good for the environment.
