Barack Obama spent most of his time near the end of his presidency promoting the sexual abuse of children by exploiting the power of his office to force public schools into accepting transgender students as normal and mentally healthy, and we’ve just been informed that Joe Biden is ready to pick up where his former boss left off.
In March 2016, the American College of Pediatricians issued a statement addressing the transgender issue and the sexual abuse of children. The ACP called transgenderism, at best, a sign of “confused thinking” and not a “genetic marker of a [biological] disorder.” The statement described such thinking as a problem that exists in the mind and not the body and that “it should be treated as such,” and it concluded:
“Conditioning children into believing a lifetime of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex is normal and healthful is child abuse.”
Calling “discrimination” against transgender students a civil rights issue, Obama’s Department of Education (DOE) held a meeting with a group called Equality Michigan where the DOE committed itself to stay “aggressively engaged” in promoting the sexual abuse of children.
One example of what Obama’s aggressive engagement looked like after meeting with Equality Michigan was provided by the Michigan State Board of Education when educators released a transgender guidance document drafted to push the state’s schools to allow children, without parental or doctoral input, to choose their gender, name, pronouns, bathrooms, and locker rooms:
“The responsibility for determining a student’s gender identity rests with the student. Outside confirmation from medical or mental health professionals or documentation of legal changes, is not needed.”
The board described identity as “a person’s deeply held internal sense or psychological knowledge of their own gender regardless of the biological sex assigned at birth.”
These idiots act like someone flipped a coin on the matter. Everyone is born with a pair of chromosomes; XY = Male and XX = Female. It’s not rocket science, but it is biological science. But as we all know, transgenderism and the LGBT movement isn’t science-based; it’s agenda-based.
By the way, Trump’s Supreme Court agreed with Obama about this being a civil rights issue when it ruled last year that homosexuals and transgenders are covered under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act — essentially rewriting the law.
In May 2016, Obama’s Education Secretary, John B. King, Jr. suggested in a keynote address to the Education Writers Association that the Department of Education would be using a far-left interpretation of Title IX to bully states into correcting what he termed “a terrible mistake” concerning so-called discrimination against transgenders.
Title IX protects students and school faculty from discrimination based on sex in education programs that receive federal financial assistance. If schools don’t comply with Title IX, they risk losing this money. It is enforced by the DOE’s Office of Civil Rights, and uses language similar to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act:
No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.
Obama managed to issue a few mandates to schools across the country requiring them to use a transgender student’s chosen pronouns and to open bathrooms, locker rooms, overnight accommodations, and some sports teams to students based on their chosen gender identity.
However, Obama only got so far with promoting sexual child abuse, but Biden is ready to pick up where he left off (via National Review):
The Education Department on Wednesday announced that it would expand the definition of the federal civil-rights statute banning sex discrimination in federally funded education programs to include gender identity amid a national debate over whether biological males should be allowed to compete in girls’ sports.
“Today, the Department makes clear that all students — including LGBTQ+ students —deserve the opportunity to learn and thrive in schools that are free from discrimination,” Education Secretary Miguel Cardona said in a statement.
“The Supreme Court has upheld the right for LGBTQ+ people to live and work without fear of harassment, exclusion, and discrimination – and our LGBTQ+ students have the same rights and deserve the same protections,” the statement adds.
The department said that discrimination against gay and transgender students is prohibited under the 1972 law that forbids sex-based discrimination in federally-funded schools.
The move is the latest in a years-long argument over the definition of “sex” that has now spanned three administrations. The Obama administration initially expanded the definition, writing in a Dear Colleague letter that “Title IX’s sex discrimination prohibition extends to claims of discrimination based on gender identity or failure to conform to stereotypical notions of masculinity or femininity.”
Biden’s approach to making the sexual abuse of children a government-mandated affair will tie last year’s Supreme Court ruling to Obama’s Title IX argument. “We just want to double down on our expectations,” Cardona told the New York Times. “Students cannot be discriminated against because of their sexual orientation or their gender identity.”
From bathrooms and locker rooms to the school sports teams, the government-approved and soon-mandated sexual abuse of children is a price Obama and Biden (as well as Trump and so-called conservatives) are willing to pay to make the LGBT agenda the supreme law of the land.
Obama started America on this journey, and Joe Biden is will take her the rest of the way down the road to Sodom.
