Waking up to a good hearty laugh, millions of American watched gleefully as former President Trump reached out of a McDonald’s drive-thru window to hand a customer their order.
It pleased us not because it was, as the Kamala campaign declared, a stunt. Rather it was, Trump being Trump, but far beyond that it was Trump being us.
We don’t care that he is a billionaire because it has done nothing to change his nature. He is a red-blooded American at all times and in all places.
In fact, we are glad he is a billionaire because he had enough money to fight the ridiculous lawfare and severe fines the Biden administration had levied at him.
He alone has the right to declare the media fake news – because he is the real thing.
He alone has the right to declare Biden/Harris a failure – because he is and was a success.
He alone has the right to say Kamala is telling lies just to get elected – because he tells the truth to Americans because they deserve it, not just to get re-elected.
We may not always agree with everything he says and does but we know at the core he has our interests at heart.
It’s called love of country – anyone remember that?
