Iran Warns of Devastating War if Israel Attacks Hezbollah Amid Escalating Tensions

The Terrorist state of Iran knows they have friends in the west that are willingly helping them keep their terror network going. Even Biden has given them billions of dollars directly, while enabling them to make several hundred BILLION dollars in the oil market. As Trump has said many times, Iran was poor while he was POTUS. He purposely starved the terror regime of cash, and we had peace. President Biden has done the complete opposite, arming Iran with needed funds for their terror groups of Hezbollah and Hamas, and now we have war. President Biden and his puppet master Obama are directly responsible.

Iran’s mission to the United Nations issued a stern warning on Friday, stating that any full-scale military aggression by Israel against Hezbollah in Lebanon would lead to a devastating war. This warning follows a series of attacks by the Israel Defense Force (IDF) on Hezbollah positions in response to the group’s recent assaults on northern Israel, reflecting escalating tensions along the Lebanese border.

On the social platform X, the Iranian UN mission emphasized that if Israel initiates a conflict with Hezbollah, “all options, including the full involvement of all resistance fronts, are on the table.” Iran’s “Axis of Resistance” includes Hezbollah, Hamas, Yemen’s Houthis, and other groups in Syria and Iraq, all of which have targeted Israel since October 7. On that day, thousands of Hamas militants launched a deadly attack on southern Israel, resulting in 1,200 deaths and 251 hostages, sparking the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

Iran also carried out an unprecedented missile-and-drone attack on Israel on April 14, shortly after an alleged Israeli airstrike near Tehran’s embassy in Damascus killed several senior officers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Although the Iranian strike was largely repelled by Israel, the United States, and other allies, a young girl was seriously injured.

In the aftermath of the October 7 massacre, Israel evacuated much of its northern region, fearing a similar attack from Hezbollah. Approximately 60,000 northern Israeli residents remain displaced as the country seeks to neutralize the threat from its northern border. Diplomatic efforts, primarily led by the United States, have failed to compel Hezbollah to retreat beyond the Litani River in compliance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701, which ended the 2006 Israel-Hezbollah conflict.

Tensions between Israel and Hezbollah continue to rise, with a U.S. official recently indicating that the risk of war is at its highest in weeks. A significant attack by either side could trigger a conflict with little warning. In a recent speech, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah threatened that no place in Israel would be spared in a full-blown war, stating that Hezbollah would fight with “no rules” and “no ceilings.” He also warned Cyprus for allowing Israel to use its territory for military exercises and hinted at targeting Israel’s offshore gas rigs.

During a ceremony for senior Hezbollah commander Taleb Abdullah, killed by an Israeli airstrike, Nasrallah asserted that while the group does not seek a total war, it stands ready to support Hamas and respond to Israeli actions. He called for a complete and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, reaffirming Hezbollah’s readiness for any scenario.

Israeli defense leaders have expressed a preference for a diplomatic resolution but are preparing for possible military engagement. Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, speaking to troops at an Iron Dome air defense battery in northern Israel, reiterated that Israel does not seek war but is preparing its military forces while pursuing political solutions as a preferable alternative.

iii. Iran’s “Axis of Resistance” includes Hezbollah, Hamas, Yemen’s Houthis, and other groups targeting Israel since the October 7 Hamas-led attack.

iv. Diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions have failed, with the risk of war between Israel and Hezbollah remaining high; Israel has evacuated much of its northern region.

v. Israeli defense leaders prefer a diplomatic resolution but are prepared for military conflict, while Hezbollah’s leader has threatened extensive retaliation in the event of war.
