The Pope recently blessed the homosexual agenda and Pastor Andy Stanley is now allowing gays to speak at his church. What more do we need to see this is the Biblical warning of the last days.
“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition” (2Th 2:3)
Someone recently asked me if I thought the Pope could be the antichrist. I quickly replied no, but he could very well be the “false prophet” who according to scripture gives full support and aid to the antichrist. (Rev 13:11-18)
The Catholics are in far greater danger than the protestants who have completely autonomous churches. Somewhere around two billion people are adherents to the Papacy, not all of them agree with the Pope’s pontifical declarations, but many will just go along with whatever he imagines to say.
Anyone who compels people to abandon the truth of the scriptures is a false prophet – there is no way around this fact.
God has sanctioned no part of the LGBTQ agenda, regardless of society’s nascent general acceptance of their tripe. But no one is safe from the simple minded to innocent children.
We used to sing the Perry Como song, “Love Makes the World Go Round” – who could guess that the LGBTQ has caused the entire world to think that it is “sex” that makes the world go round.
Preoccupation with sex is what makes the world go down.
Sexual preferences have pushed God, scripture, nature, and common sense off the cliff. But showing up before God on the last day with only a sexual preference as your ticket will get you the boot for the pit.
We are trying to reduce all of life to its lowest common denominator – that requires a lot of false prophets and today – we’ve got em.
The Other Side of the Coin
There is a positive and exciting aspect to pre-millennial prophecies. It has begun to surface in the many revivals springing up around the United States.
The Ashbury revival in Wilmore, Kentucky was one of the first, but now there are new moves of the Holy Spirit bubbling up across the nation.
They are the fulfillment of God’s promise for the last days as foretold by the Prophet Joel.
“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.” (Joel 2:28-29)
These present-day revivals are taking on a different look than the long-accepted view of revivals.
A true revival is not just a popular Christian band belting out favorites, followed by a side show of charismatic activity. Rather, it is repentance and confession of sins. It is the renewal of entire communities, and if we are willing, it can be the return of entire nations to their former standing with the Living God.
It is a purge followed by a Holy Spirit fast-tracking of the gospel message. It involves men, women and children and will cause many to awake again to the love and message of a loving Savior who died for the sins of the world.
Any church or group can be a part of it, but they will experience something far more than the scheduled yearly revival with an out-of-town preacher.
It will be church at the speed of light.
“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.” (Joel 2:32)
