It has long been apparent that Joe Biden has suffered a serious decline in his mental state, I never liked the man personally, but this isn’t about liking or not liking Biden. This is about a serious mental health problem and making it even more serious is the fact that this man is (supposedly) running our nation. Possibly even worse, the media, Biden’s advisors, other Democrats, and Biden’s own VP, Kamala Harris have been attempting to cover all of this up.
“It has been clear for five years that President Joe Biden has been in serious mental and physical decline. Instead of investigating his condition, the leftwing media covered for Biden and attacked those raising the questions. In addition, his closest aides, Vice President Kamala Harris, his family and, especially, his wife vouched for his ability to serve another four years as President.” (Source)
Recently however after the disastrous debate performance of Biden, the Demorats have been turning on Biden.
“I think it’s a legitimate question to say, is this an episode, or is this a condition? And so when people ask that question, it’s completely legitimate — of both candidates,” Pelosi, still a prominent member of the House Democratic Caucus, said in an interview on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports.” (Source)
Just a short time ago it was Trump who needed a test, but now suddenly Biden and Trump both need to be tested. I wonder who Pelosi thinks she is fooling?
Then you have the more typical Democrat brown-noser:
“First of all, I do think Joe Biden could win the election in November. Whether he’s the strongest candidate to win the election in November is an open question,” he said. “I also think he is fully fit to be commander in chief right now. And frankly, his track record over the last three and a half years shows that this is the first president in American history who came into office and had to defend democracy at home and abroad.” – Democratic Rep. Has Mr. Auchincloss lost his marbles? Biden is, “fully fit to be commander in chief right now.” Seriously??? Are we looking at the same man here?
Shortly after the debate, Democrats began to pressure Biden to drop out of the race, apparently Nancy Pelosi told Biden privately that he had no chance of beating Biden.
In a somewhat stunning move (Just over the weekend Biden had claimed he was not dropping out of the presidential race), on Sunday Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race and endorsed Kamala Harris as his chosen successor – no surprise there.
Here is what really bothers me about all of this, the Dems lied about all of this, consistently and constantly, and for a long period of time.
Anyone with even a few brain cells could see over the years that Joe Biden was having serious problems. This isn’t meant as an attack on Biden, I would not wish dementia (Which is what it seems like Biden has) on anyone, ever. The fact that the Democrats were perfectly willing to cover this up, or try to deeply concerns me, and it should concern as well. This isn’t about party, it’s about our country, and the character, or lack thereof of those serving our nation in office (There are also plenty of Republicans that aren’t worth their salt too).
First the Demorats supported Biden, even though it was apparent his mental capabilities were in serious jeopardy. Then after the debate, when it became blindingly obvious that Biden was adrift and lost, and had no chance of beating the evil Trump – Then the Democrats changed their tune and began to question his fitness to continue to lead, and called on Biden to drop out of the race.
After many (Obama, Pelosi, Schumer, many members of Congress, influential donors, etc.) Democrats urged Biden to step down and allow someone else to capture the Democratic nomination for president, now hours after Biden dropped out (A surprise to his own staff) the same people are praising Biden for being a hero for dropping out – talk about two-faced.
“In a sign of the abruptness of Biden’s decision, the campaign blasted out a fundraising email for “Joe and Kamala” at 1:54 p.m. — eight minutes after Biden announced he was stepping aside.” (Source)
All of this proves to anyone willing to be honest with themselves a serious truth – namely that the Democrats biggest concern here is not the nation, not We the People, but rather that a Democratic win in 2024 is in serious jeopardy, can’t have that. Winning and maintaining power is what is most important, the welfare of the nation as well as the people is a secondary consideration.
